I love the Eisenhower Matrix, you know, the one mapping important and urgent tasks.
In life, you tend to forget to focus on the important things and often end up doing unimportant but urgent things.
It turns out that I rarely have that problem in parenting and start-ups. Instead, the problem is that there’s always a fire! There’s always urgent, important stuff.
So the real task, in parenting as in start-up life, is to let a few fires burn and make space for the important stuff that ain’t yet burning.
