Stepping stones to success
Ray Dalio, Ariana Huffington, and many successful businesspeople will tell us that the way to success is to have many failures.
Having lots of failures is the goal, not having success.
But when we look into ourselves, we know we don’t want to have a failure either. If we can avoid failure, we still will. And that’s a good thing; we should do everything to turn a potential failure into success.
But it also means we extend a project’s deadline, lower goals, and change hypotheses as we receive the results of our tests.
But only one of those directions will actually make us successful, the other just makes us expect less.
