One way to develop generative AI-based features
for your product is to try to make the average Jane Doe an expert user of your product.
The way I like to think about it is this: I suck at Zapier. I don’t use it often, so infrequently, I don’t even know the basic Triggers and Actions. That knowledge is for, you know, expert users. Those people know the Triggers and Actions by heart.
But thanks to ChatGPT, I now have a smart search where I can type in “Push new Twitter users into Slack as a message,” and I get a pretty good skeleton for a future Zap.
It saves me quite some time searching around the internet, and I love it.
I love this feature because it helps 90% of users like me become as good as the other 10% in a certain part of the product.
