No, almost never. In fact, if you’re like me - you know human - you have a psychological bias to not even write down your assumptions, let alone check them.
Five customers tell you they have one major problem with your product - that’s a good indicator for a business opportunity, right?
Probably, but that’s an assumption.
Write it down, think about what numbers you need to collect/analyze to validate or disprove your assumption, and go for it.
I know it’s no fun, but there’s a reason it’s called work.
